Pattern Notes
Colour changes are shown by the letter, eg: [B] means switch to Yarn B.
Beginning ch1/2 doesn't count as a st.
Beginning chain should fit comfortably across the top of your head from ear to ear, you can add/take away the green, white and black stitches to alter it easily.
When working on R1 of the straps, place your stitches anywhere along the side.
Headband
[A] ch45, [B] ch25 +1 (turning ch)
R1: sc into 2nd ch from hook, 4sc, *5dc, 5sc* x2, [A] *5dc, 5sc* x4, 5dc, ss down the side of the dc to get to the first ch.
R2: worked into the other side of the foundation chain, ch2, *5dc, 5sc* x4, 5dc, [A] *5sc, 5dc* x2, 5sc.
R3: ch2, *5dc, 5sc* x2, [C] *5dc, 5sc* x5.
R4: ch1, *5sc, 5dc* x5, 5sc, [A] 5dc, 5sc, 5dc.
With the RS facing you and the red on the left (as shown above), attach yarn A again.
R5: ch2, *5dc, 5sc* x2, [D] *5dc, 5sc* x5.
R6: ch1, *5sc, 5dc* x5, 5sc, [A] 5dc, 5sc, 5dc.
Straps
Without fastening off for the first one, work the straps on either side of the headband.
R1: ch1, 10sc.
R2: ch1, sc dec, 6sc, sc dec.
R3: ch1, 8sc.
R4: ch1, sc dec, 4sc, sc dec.
R5-6: ch1, 6sc.
R7: ch1, sc dec, 2sc, sc dec.
R8: ch1, 4sc.
R9: ch1, sc dec, sc dec.
R10: ch1, 2sc.
Ch42
R11: hdc into 3rd ch from hook, 39hdc, ss to other sc from R10.
Repeat the same on the other side.
